Acmed is indicated for the treatment of papulopustular acne, rosacea and melasma. Its composition with Azelaic Acid at 20% exerts an action: Depigmenting. It inhibits the enzyme tyrosinase and is not photosensitizing. Keratolytic. Helps unclog pores. Antibacterial. Broad spectrum bactericide. Antiseborrheic. Inhibits 5?-reductase. Anti-inflammatory. Eliminates free radicals, slowing down the inflammatory cascade. Acmed can be used during pregnancy and lactation and is better tolerated than retinoids or benzoyl peroxide. It can be used as monotherapy or in combination with other treatments. Acmed is recommended to be used 1 or 2 times a day for up to 12 weeks. It can be complemented with Acnaid Liquid Soap for the perfect care of acne-prone skin.
