Indications
- Complete, hypercaloric and hyperprotein diet to maintain or improve the nutritional status of cancer patients suffering from malnutrition and combat fat loss. - This type of enteral nutrition is indicated for cancer patients undergoing radiotherapy and / or chemotherapy products. - Geriatric population with difficulty meeting their nutritional needs. - Diets for patients with high caloric-protein requirements such as: postoperative, general metabolic stress, trauma, AIDS, cystic fibrosis, etc. - Combat coadjuvant pressure ulcers. - Home enteral nutrition. - Mechanical alterations in swallowing or transit that present with severe aphagia or dysphagia and require a catheter.
Nutritional characteristics
The standard dose (1,000 ml / day) provides 89 g. protein, 169 g. of carbohydrates, 65 g. of fats, 1,620 Kcal. and they cover 100% of the RDAS for vitamins and minerals.
